He shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary him, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember him.

Altered version of a part of a poem from "For the Fallen" by Robert Laurence Binyon

RIP Coyote. See you "sometime soon"

Jon will be sorely missed. The world is a darker, sadder place with him gone.

Sir Coyote was a most amazing person. He had what he'd call 'Coyote Time' which was when we would get together and he would share stories and wisdom with others and it had an incredibly healing effect. He gave me a job doing landscaping work with him one summer and I spent mornings with him and his wife, Miss Pamela, having coffee and just chatting. It was a daily ritual for them and, should he leave before she woke, he's leave her these sweet little notes. It was a privilege to be loved by him, by them.

I wish I had spent more time with him because there is nobody is rather be like than Sir Coyote. He was a healer, a hard worker, a playful trickster, and a very loving friend. It is my sincerest hope that wherever he is now, that he can see the lasting impact his love has had on the community. I miss my friend dearly.
